A Famous Ramen Shop in the Back Alleys of Kyoto

Nestled in the back alleys of Kyoto, 'Ramen Nohoh' is a must-visit for those seeking the delicate flavors unique to Kyoto. Exquisite Harmony of Chicken and Pork

The signature dish, 'Chicken and Pork Bone Ramen', boasts a delightful harmony of chicken broth and pork bone soup. It offers a refined and elegant taste without being too heavy, complemented by the crisp texture of white leeks floating in the soup.

Savor the Essence of Kyoto's Specialty Flavors

One dish that pairs excellently with the ramen is the 'Nohoh Donburi', a bowl featuring a rich and distinct flavor profile with its cheese sauce. This specialty menu item allows you to savor a harmonious blend of flavors with the ramen.

Moreover, the homemade 'Karaage' is another crowd favorite. The moist, soy sauce-seasoned chicken, encased in a tender coating, is the perfect accompaniment to a drink.

Ramen no Bombo offers some of the best chashu ramen I've ever had—rich broth, perfect noodles, and tender chashu. The fried chicken is also a must-try, incredibly tasty and so tender it melts in your mouth. The cook was very friendly, and the service was top-notch. Highly recommended!

This place was one of those you go almost everyday after work. I loved this place, their ramen is so good and you can feel the quality of the ingredients! All of the choices available are great recommendations. The kaarage is also very good and always one the moment you order like the ramen. The place is small but almost always you find a seat if for 1 person, or the wait is quite quick. The only thing I didn’t like was the attitude of the lady serving. Should visit if close by!

Yummy food for a great value. I loved the chashu so much, and you get a lot of it! I wish I'd tried the karaage. Staff we're kind and quick. Very efficient considering there was just the chef and waitress/hostess working. It was a lowkey little place, and the location is convenient.

A must try ramen spot in Kyoto. Delicious broth and super tender lean chasu (pork). The chicken karage was tasty also! Highly recommend this to everyone. They have english menu. Not only abt the food, but also the service and chef there. Pay high attention to details even this is just a small ramen shop. The kitchen was run by 1 chef only, he cook and clean. Keep up the good work!! : )
