Fresh prawns and the garlic butter combo was delicious! Highly recommend, rooftop seating is nice too chill and feel the sea breeze too :) plenty of parking available

In A Nutshell: -Kouri Shrimp is located on Kouri Island, Okinawa Japan. -It's very easy to find & is very popular. -If you drive a car a parking attendant will help guide you into a spot. -You will order food from the 1st floor kiosks, then go upstairs to wait for your number to be called by looking at the TV monitor showing the numbers of orders ready for pickup. -Secure a seat inside/outside or downstairs. -I enjoyed the Spicy Garlic Butter Shrimp w/ Okinawan Salad & a ice cold Shikuwasa citrus drink. The big sized shrimp tasted very good, you will eat them all. Overall, the food is really good here & this restaurant is a good place to stop by during your exploration.

Shrimps are nice n fresh with spectacular seaview. Note: When taking order 1. Order from the kiosk 2. Pass your receipt to the counter beside the kiosk, and they will advise where to collect your food. Either level 1, 2 or at the mini van at level 1 Sometimes they will give you a buzzer

A must visit when traveling to Kouri Island! Pro: - extremely savory deep shrimp flavors - very good sized shrimp x6 - great menu accompaniments - beautiful views from all floors - great portions - potato wedges are also amazing Con: - parking (gets very busy due to popularity) - seating is not very comfortable - can get pricey if buying for your entire family Fantastic stop to enjoy the view and a meal!

I personally do not find that there are many interesting things in Kouri Island for me, but made the trip to the island to have the very famous Kouri Shrimp Rice. This is worth the 50 mins drive from American village. The prawns are fresh and crunchy and the rice are topped with cute amount of butter garlic sauce that is truly amazing. I may be under informed and not tried enough Okinawan food, but this sauce is great. I could have finish the rice without the prawns with just this sauce. Oh and the view here is great. It's a little pricey and difficult to get to, but a trip here is worth it.
