Momijidani is a hidden maple leaf spot in Mizusawa-cho, Yokkaichi City, Mie Prefecture, Japan. A small path leads to the valley bottom, surrounded by colorful maple leaves. It's like walking through a nature's artwork. You can enjoy the feeling of walking in a natural art piece.
It is recommended to access by car. There are two nearest free parking lots, one near Momijidani and the other in the middle towards Suzuka. To avoid traffic, the parking lot in the middle is recommended.
The best time to visit is from late November to early December. You can enjoy the autumn leaves up close at the valley bottom, and there is also a magnificent view from above. It takes about 30 minutes to walk around, but we recommend a leisurely stroll.
Near Momijidani, there is a direct sales office that sells delicious vegetables, tea, and pickles. During your walk, you can enjoy the local flavors.
