One of the most amazing dining experiences I’ve ever been to! It was intriguing to see the sushi made right in front of you. The chef was very impressive in how he made each item and sliced it so nicely. He will make the item for each person, then, each person tries it along the way. They served multiple courses, mostly sushi for this meal as well as a homemade dessert at the end. There are multiple options for sake and the waitress did a great job giving recommendations for what to try. This was a phenomenal meal and experience because everyone is so kind and it’s an intimate setting.

This will be an experience of a lifetime. If I were to ever be struck by sudden memory loss, I truly hope that the flavors and memories created here at Hatsune will last. I was visiting Japan and wanted a proper Omakase experience. As a last minute planner I stumbled upon a booking website where most of the Michelin rated eats could be found. There was an opening for 1 slot and I decided to hop on a train and make my way over. The pricing in all honesty was very fair. You walk in and immediately feel so welcomed as if you are a prince or princess. The atmosphere surely draws in a sense of an excitement. Peculiarities like 30 year old aged soy sauce or the finest green tea entice you for the journey to come. The Itamae (head chef) presented each and every dish with a educational backstory and then began preparing each dish with delicacy and precision. They even let us snag pictures of each. The room starts getting filled with love and before you know it you’re at the end in a state of trance. I recommend you book your trip around a pit stop like this and truly savor each and every bite as you probably won’t find an experience like this locally.

Went here with a group of friends (3 of us) and we had an absolutely amazing time. Family owned for 130 years, delicious food and extremely friendly staff. The fact you can book a reservation here 1 week out from the date is very surprising to me. If you’re thinking about eating here, you won’t be disappointed!

How does this place have Michelin stars? This really discredits the Michelin guide as the whole dining experience was so underwhelming from start to finish. Food was mediocre, service was the bare minimum, presentation was nonexistent. It was quite literally the most boring omakase I’ve been to and the chef barely spoke a word nor tell us what we were eating. This was worse than cheap omakase I’ve had back in North America. It was short and even the way it ends is awkward. Save your money and eat elsewhere

The chef is super humorous and friendly environment, overall it provides customers a sense of theater and watching the live streaming sushi circus show. I would say it’s the most entertaining sushi omakase I have ever had, but the food could’ve been more delicates
