A good place to Camp or cookout also a good place to take dogs for walks. The park itself is fairly large. There are various trails to explore some winding through forests and steep hills with beautiful views. It also has an interesting history for those history Buffs. As a reminder for those who take their dogs for walks please be courteous to others and pick up after them also during the warmer seasons you will definitely need bug spray.

Access is available by descending the steep stairs from the parking lot. If you go from the toilet side, it's a long detour, but you can go there without using stairs, but it seems like you can't use a wagon. The lawn has a slope, so you have to think a little bit when setting up your tent. Although the toilets and kitchen were old, they were well maintained. We stayed for about 3 hours on a sunny day on a holiday, but there were no other users besides us. The wind was so strong that morning that the families who had arrived earlier had to give up and return home because they were unable to set up their tents and tarps. We set up a dod hexagon tarp in a flying squirrel shape to protect ourselves from the wind. As long as I hit the pegs properly, the wind wasn't too much of a problem. I think you can use it comfortably if you think about how to pitch the tent (tarp). The grass and lawn seemed to have been cut a few months ago and had grown, but it was comfortable enough to use. There are 13 tables and benches made of stone (one is unusable as the legs are crushed and left unused), and about 11 pots for bonfires and pottery (it is unknown if they can all be used, placed near the table). had. I set up a tarp near the table, ate lunch, and spent some time with my family and dog. The view from the campsite isn't great, but since it's one step down from the road, it's not visible to people driving by, so it feels private. If you go up the road a little bit, you can get a nice view of Kawauchi Pass, and I think it's a great place. Since it was autumn, the pampas grass hills were shining silver and it was a wonderful sight! If the toilets were newer and cleaner, there really wouldn't be much to say. It was a very small and nice place. I will use it again.

I was so excited, probably because it was November when I had a preview of the car while touring. The toilets were surprisingly clean, and there was water in the kitchen, but I wasn't sure if it was drinkable. I think the wind is too strong for camping.
