Very good experience. All common spaces are very clean, and the showers and toilets are extremely well maintained. Personally, I found the capsules comforting. They're just big enough to sit up in and watch something (with headphones in!) on my phone. They get surprisingly dark at night even with the lights of the other capsules on. The room the capsules are in is cold, but the shade does a good job of trapping warmth in the capsule, so I was never cold. If anything, I was actually too warm at one point. For the price, the location, the cleanliness, the free coffee upstairs in the cafe lobby, this was a fantastic deal. If you're not someone who is open to sharing spaces with others, such as with hostels, this is not the environment for you. If you're looking to meet other travellers (both foreign and domestic) and don't mind sharing spaces then I highly recommend staying here.

The location is nice, very close to the station and in the Korean area with lots of restaurants and shops around. Although quite busy area, inside the hotel you don't hear anything. The hotel has a weird structure but easy to understand. Women and men are separate with different floors and I think it's well done. There's a cafeteria on the main entrance floor and it gives a nice view to the surroundings. The only bad thing is the mattress which is hard as a rock and the airco is on quite strong the whole time. Other than that, it was a quick short fine experience.

Stayed here for 6 nights. Overall experience was excellent. It feels safe, cozy and comfortable. Sleeping, bathing and common areas are generally clean except for the toilet which smells. For those travellers who stay here for only 1 or 2 nights, it might be confusing and troublesome. I stayed on the 4th floor (sleeping area, lockers for your shoes and luggages and toilets are on the 4th floor as well). Shower rooms are on the 7th floor. Reception desk is on the 8th floor. When you first arrive, you have to take the middle lift to the 8th floor and then take the right lift (for men) to your sleeping area. This means that when you want to go out, you have to take the right lift to the 8th floor and then take the middle lift to go down to the 1st floor. Oh and you have to return your key and card to the reception desk every time you wanna go out. And of course you have to get your key from them again when you want to go back. Staying here means going up and down regularly. I get why some people say the receptionists are rude. I think those are foreign staff who work there and maybe don't adopt the omotenashi culture. But other than that its fine. Oh and ear plugs are a must since there will be lots of noises from your neighbours.

Toilet rooms smells terrible, locker room / storage room literally smells like a sweaty gym locker room. Pillows are terrible. You can hear others snoring. 2 people we paid about ¥14,300. We could have gotten a regular private room that’s small for that price I’m sure with our own private bathroom and much cleaner in japan. Would never come back.

+ easy to reach + good view from the lounge + good coffee + good equipment - I’ve never ever met staff that was so unpolite . It felt like they where given the order to be as unfriendly as possible . It totally destroyed the mood and made me feel uncomfortable to stay in that hostel - you can’t bring anything to your capsel. Also small bags and your mobile are prohibited . This makes sense when you want everything to stay as clean as possible , but it was actually rather dirty in the capsel dorm . - the smell in the sleeping dorm was musty
