富士山ブルーベリーの里 (FujisanBlueberryNoSato) is a nice farm area where you can enjoy Blueberry picking, Groundnut Picking, Sweetpotato picking etc., They have good parking area, very near to the other big attractions like Bungy Jump etc., They have big relaxing area where you can enjoy various delicious variety items made of their farm produce like Sweetpotato ice cream, peanut butter (sugarless) etc., They charge very nominal 400¥ per person where you can taste the fresh blueberries and also you can take back home the picked berries at 300¥ per 100g. Though the official flier says 3 Pm closing time we found that they operate till 5 Pm. Very friendly farmers … they follow covid protocols very well … sanitizers, hand protection cloths etc are available.

This is a homely farm. It is run by a family, and I visit every year as if I were truly returning home to the countryside. It feels like time is passing slowly. Blueberries 🫐 are large and sweet. There are various events and products held throughout the year such as potato digging, ice cream, jam making, and sweet potato shochu, so please stop by and check them out!

I stopped by and had a gelato for 350 yen, and also bought a liqueur for 1,760 yen. We had a great time chatting with the owner about small talk and tourist information, and we were given a quick tour of the blueberry farm. I tasted several varieties, and each one had really different characteristics, such as strong sourness, strong sweetness, and freshness! We usually deal with customers who come by tour bus, but individuals like me are also welcome. On a clear day, you can clearly see Mt. Fuji.

Last year, I visited Fuji City on a taxi tour and had the opportunity to try making jam. This time I visited on a bus tour. This is a family business run by a 91-year-old father and son who are healthy and have good skin. The stories are interesting and I love blueberries, so I want to come every year.

I went to dig 🍠 on the HIS bus tour! The sweet potatoes are delicious, and the uncle and his family are so kind! Looks like there will be a Yuba experience next spring! There will also be blueberry picking in the summer! Be sure to visit when you're in Shizuoka! Please!
