Upon arrival at Miyajima, Itsukushima Shrine is right on your right. If you visit early in the morning, you can visit the shrine quietly with few visitors. However, souvenir shops and other stores may not yet be open. On the other hand, it is said to be extremely crowded if you arrive around midday. The key is to choose the right time for sightseeing.
