First time trying Onomichi ramen and I wasn’t disappointed zThe place is good and needs 10-15 walk from Higashi onomichi station. Most convenient for people traveling with cars.

The name of the restaurant is "Ajiryuu" and their specialty is a ramen bowl with the same name. Originally, I went to this shop because I searched for "onomichi ramen" (in English), and I was a little disappointed that they didn't really sell the traditional Onomichi ramen, but was only a ramen shop located in Onomichi city. About location, is situated at the end of town. Parking can maybe for up to 15 cars (give or take). You can sit at the counter or at tables. Inside was clean and nice. Service was good and the speed of service was good; not super fast, but acceptable. That being said, the food was still good. I had the Ajiryuu ramen and I have nothing to complain about. My actual only issue was that they only take cash and not credit card. Of course there are still many places in Japan that don't accept credit cards, but for such a big and seemingly popular location, it was a little bit of a let down.

I received the Ajiryu ramen (+Ajiryu set). The ramen is made with Onomichi soup and homemade noodles, and the large char siu is delicious with a strong meaty flavor! The fried chicken is hot, juicy and delicious! The fried rice was also delicious, but I was a little disappointed that it was quite oily and sticky. Counter seats have individual seasonings, water, and tissues GOOD! The store has a good atmosphere with cheerful customer service. I think the price for a single ramen item is reasonable, but the price for the set you can choose from is expensive ↘︎ I was able to use PayPay. Thank you for the meal🙏

Ajiryu ramen is Onomichi ramen-style, with back fat floating in the soy sauce soup and delicious. Maybe it's a bit of a light type of Onomichi ramen? The fried rice is also delicious and not too heavy. I also love the soft and large fried chicken. The staff are energetic and you can enjoy your meal comfortably.

I heard that Onomichi Ramen is a delicious restaurant, so I visited there. It's nice to have a parking lot that's easy to get in and out of, and the interior is new and just the right size. The menu is wide-ranging and includes children's sets, so it seems like it would be good for families as well. This time we have Ajiryu Ramen (800 yen) and fried chicken set (330 yen). When I went there, it was the year-end and New Year price. The soup was exquisite, with the perfect amount of seafood, and the texture of the chashu and the aroma that filled my nose were amazing. It was so delicious that I finished the soup. Fried chicken is delicious with a sense of security. By making it into a set, it has just the right volume.
